If it comes to lighthouses, french atlantic coast is one of the best locations to explore them. Especially in Bretagne (or Brittany) there are lighthouses which are architectural treasures. They are majestic and unique. It seems they stand on their locations for ages in order to save lifes at harsh atlantic storms. But Bretagne is not only about lighthouses. You can find there beautiful sandy beaches, scenic rocky coast or picturesque medieval villages. Bretagne was on my photography destination list for a long time. My dream to take pictures in Bretagne finally became a reality in April 2018.
